Spark is a space for reflection and intentional planning — for pressing the pause button in the fast, chaotic rhythm of leadership. Management is a role filled with speed, interruptions, and noise. For many leaders, it's rare to find even a few quiet minutes to step back and learn from experience.
Spark is designed with that reality in mind. It invites you to stop, just long enough to notice. To step out of urgency and into awareness. To look at your week not just as a series of tasks, but as raw material for growth.
This may look like a simple notebook. But by the end of these thirteen weeks, we hope it becomes the best management book you've ever read — because you wrote it.
The four parts of a week

The Story of the Week
Each week begins with a short excerpt inspired by a well-known, research-based management book — something you can read in five minutes but think about all week. At the end of the story, you'll find one reflection question. Your task is to live with that question, and at the end of the week, respond to it based on what you've seen, felt, or learned. Sometimes, short stories spark the deepest insights.

Weekly Priorities & Daily Planning
Each week, you'll define up to three key priorities. Fewer priorities means more focus. Then, you'll break those priorities into daily tasks, record key meetings and follow-ups, and reflect briefly at the end of each day. At the bottom of each daily page, you'll see one simple question: 'What did I learn today?' This isn't just about note-taking — it's about sense-making. It's a moment to scan your day, connect dots, and capture meaningful insights.

The Weekly Review
At the end of each week, you'll step back again with three tools: a Habit Tracker, to monitor personal practices you're building; a Checklist of Essential Leadership Activities, to stay grounded in what really matters (but is easily forgotten); and finally, a space to answer two big questions — what were my most important learnings this week, and how might those learnings shape my actions next week?

Why This Matters
Spark is more than a planner. It's a tool for extracting meaning from your work — so you don't just keep going but keep learning. If you use this notebook fully, week after week, it will become your book. Not about theory, but about practice. Not about someone else's model — but about your reality. And perhaps, by the end, it truly becomes the best management book you've ever read. Because it reflects the most important meeting a manager can have: a meeting with themselves.
